Ngamba Island is a chimpanzee sanctuary situated on Lake Victoria, about 23 kilometers southwest of Entebbe, Uganda. Reachable by boat from Entebbe, Ngamba Island is about a 45-minute speed boat ride or a 90-minute motorized canoe ride from the mainland.
