Interact with friendly vendors and sample authentic Ugandan street foodbefore exploring the lush greenery of Mabira Forest
Mabira Forest;
Here, take a guided nature walk to explore one of Uganda’s largest rainforests, home to hundreds of bird species, butterflies, and primates. Source of The River Nile and Boat Cruise. Upon reaching Jinja, marvel at the architectural beauty of the Jinja Nile Bridge, an iconic structure symbolising the connection between central and eastern Uganda. The highlight of the day is a visit to the Source of the Nile, where the world’s longest river begins its epic journey to the Mediterranean Sea. Enjoy a relaxing boat cruise along the Nile, surrounded by scenic views and gentle breezes.
Day 2: Zziwa Rhino Sanctuary & Murchison Falls Boat Cruise
After breakfast, travel northwards to Zziwa Rhino Sanctuary, the only place in Uganda where you can see wild rhinos in their natural habitat. Take part inaguided walking safari, getting up close to these magnificent creatures while learning about conservation efforts aimed at protecting Uganda’s rhino population.
Continue your journey to Murchison Falls National Park, Uganda’s largest andmost dramatic reserve. After lunch, embark on an afternoon boat cruise along the Nile, sailing towards the base of the thunderous Murchison Falls. Along the way, spot hippos, crocodiles, elephants, and an array of birdlife. The sight of the mighty Nile forcing itself through a narrow gorge before plunging into a foaming pool is simply breathtaking. Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight amid the tranquil wilderness.
Day 3: Morning Game Drive & Top of the Falls Experience
Start your day with an early morning game drive on the northern bank of the Nile. The golden sunrise illuminates the savannah as you search for lions,
leopards, giraffes, elephants, buffaloes, and numerous antelope species. Later, visit the Top of the Falls, where you’ll witness the Nile squeezing through a 7-meter-wide canyon and crashing 43 meters below—an awe-inspiring display of nature’s power.
After this exhilarating experience, begin your transfer back to Kampala.
