" A long drive there and back from Entebbe to Jinja was rewarded with a serene and fascinating visit to the source of the Nile. I had originally imagined this would simply be a wide river mouth at one side of Lake Victoria, whereas actually the whole nature of the water surface changes as addition sources of natural water emerge with force from underground springs and change the whole nature of the surface, making a clear division between lake and river. It's much more rewarding to see this tangible transition between these two globally iconic immense bodies of water. Plenty of wildlife to see on the lake cruise as well. Stops on the outbound roadtrip for a forest walk near Mukono and to visit the powerful and spiritual Ssezibwe Falls, plus street food in Najembe and a local buffet in a Jinja restaurant, all added layers of interest. It's a long day, but the memories will last so much longer "

I took the Uganda: 2-Day Murchison Falls National Park Safari on 18 July, with Sharif as my guide. I would just like to offer my thanks and commend Sharif, as he was excellent!🙂 The entire experience was wonderful from start to finish. The journey began with a scenic drive through Uganda’s lush, green countryside, followed by a close-up visit to the top of the mighty Murchison Falls (Kabalega). This was followed by a relaxing and fascinating three-hour boat cruise along the Nile to view the falls from below. The captain skillfully brought us close to crocodiles, hippos, and a rich variety of water birds. The next morning, another wonderful experience driving through the park’s beautiful savannah, seeing herds of giraffe, antelope, a pride of six lions on the hunt, and finally, getting a long, close look at a leopard lounging in a nearby tree. A big thank you to Sharif for an outstanding tour of amazing, beautiful Uganda - I highly recommend this safari and Sharif in particular!

Absolutely phenomenal – a must-do experience if you’re in Kampala! I recently took the 3-hour city tour of Kampala, and let me tell you: it was nothing short of extraordinary.
